Faith-based Youth Work: Hull project to open own youth centre

The Rhema centre will be open Monday to Friday, working with school partners in the morning and running open sessions in the afternoon, with two evening drop-in sessions. The centre will also provide a base for partnerships with Connexions and Wyke Youth Network.

Capital funding of 30,000 was provided by the Newland Ward Community Initiatives Budget, Connexions Humber and the Neighbourhood Support Fund.

The project will receive 40,000 a year in operating costs from the fund.

Rhema Youth Works is a faith-based voluntary partnership between Eagle House Charitable Trust, Hull Community Church and the Lighthouse Project.
