Popular children's TV character Dora the Explorer was on hand to entertain young people taking part in the Children's Society's annual London Bridges Walk last week. The event, now in its eighth year, pulled in a record attendance with some 3,000 people walking either five or 10 miles. Organisers estimate that it raised around 120,000 to help fund the charity's work with neglected and isolated children and young people across the country.
