ENVIRONMENT: Young people drop most litter in UK

Focus group studies carried out by the charity have revealed young people believe it is "uncool" to be seen using a bin, especially in front of their friends.

Keep Britain Tidy has launched a campaign to target young people in Scotland using pop stars such as David Sneddon.

Previous campaigns aimed to emphasise the potential danger to animals caused by litter.
