The National Children's Bureau has begun a "scoping exercise" to seewhether such an association would be useful. It is already consultingwith professionals and will set up an online questionnaire to discussthe idea in September. The charity intends to present its findings inNovember.
Simon Blake, acting director of children's development at the NationalChildren's Bureau, said: "PSHE is the only subject that does not haveits own association. We're undertaking a scoping exercise to look atwhether a subject association would raise the profile and improve thequality of PSHE in schools."
