13.5% of nursery and primary school pupils taking free school meals inJanuary 2005 (13.4 per cent in England)

Rotherham's children and young people's plan explains how it has managedto reduce exclusions. It says: "Direct work with parents and behaviourimprovement programme schools were successful in reducing the number ofpermanent exclusions with 18 of them meeting their target."
