Down on the wind farm: Children learn about renewable energy

Children in Cambridgeshire visited wind turbines at a farm in the county last week. The visit, part of the Co-operative Group's From Farm to Fork education programme, was designed to give them an insight into modern farming, which, at Coldham Farm, includes renewable energy generation. Peter Murphy, from Fenland District Council, which helped to organise the visit, said: "Energy and food are two of the most important issues facing the world today, and it is important that children have a well-rounded understanding of the problems we face."
