Doors open at first Myplace centre

The Open centre in Norwich has become the first Myplace-funded project to open its doors.

The centre secured funding last year through the fast-track scheme of the £270m government programme.

Facilities now include a live music venue, theatre and other arts-based activities, a young people's nightclub, climbing wall, educational kitchen and cafe, music recording studios and video-editing suites. There is also a health centre and education space.
