Antisocial behaviour orders are civil orders that exist to protect the public from behaviour that causes, or is likely to cause, harassment, alarm or distress. BBC 1Xtra reports on young people living under the restriction of antisocial behaviour orders and the effect it has on them and their families.
Shameless features a 16-year-old boy from Manchester, who tells how he risks imprisonment if he talks to his uncles in a public place. He reveals how he was publicly "named and shamed" in the local press and how his picture, which was published in a leaflet and sent to his neighbours, eventually led to his family being evicted from their home.
