The project will see the organisations working with local authoritiesand schools to draw up guidance on how to ensure children withdisabilities have equal access to facilities.
Linda Redford, development officer at ContinYou, said: "There needs tobe the same amount of care and attention to ensure extended services areas inclusive (as the schools themselves)."
Six local authorities, yet to be named, will help to identify and sharesuccessful approaches. The Department for Education and Skills has givenaround 50,000 to fund the project.
