The Windchimes centre, which is currently being built, will be open in December and will cover the east Kent area. It will provide a "hub and spoke" style service to bring all services for disabled young people together.
The East Kent Disability Partnership, part of Kent County Council, is developing the centre.
The Children's Society will receive 80,000 a year to recruit the staff needed to run the centre, initially for three years.
Eva Jolly, assistant director, southern region, for The Children's Society, said: "The ultimate aim is that in five years' time we will have set up an advisory committee of parents and young people who will commission services they believe are needed for disabled young people in the area."
