Anthony Douglas, the chief executive of Cafcass, said: "I am delightedto announce that Department for Education and Skills has given us anincrease. It means that the one-off funding we received in the currentfinancial year has been consolidated into our base budget." He added:"The increase is recognition of the work we do and the pressures onus."
Cafcass has also set out its priorities for the next three years, whichinclude more time for practice supervision, access to a nationalmentoring scheme and regular practice auditing.
