Connexions: Unison calls for protection of jobs

In a motion to come before the union's annual conference this month, delegates will call on Unison's Local Government Service Group Executive for assurances from the Department for Education and Skills that Connexions jobs are safeguarded.

The union is also concerned that the Government's preference for external providers could affect extended school services.
