Connexions: Lancashire changes delivery of services

Called CX Ltd and trading as CXL, the company will be operational from April, serving the three local authorities of Blackburn with Darwen, Blackpool and Lancashire.

Alongside directly commissioned Connexions personal adviser services, it will offer a range of services to local authorities including training. It will also offer adult guidance and services to employers, alongside services for young offenders.

Karen O'Donoghue, Connexions Lancashire chief executive and the chief officer responsible for establishing the company, said it aimed to provide a more joined-up service to young people beyond 19.
