Clearing up: Young people earn and learn

More than 100 young people from Enfield received a taste of work over the summer holidays, thanks to a scheme run by the local council.

The young people either worked outdoors tidying public areas or took office roles at the council. The young people were paid the adult minimum wage - at least £5.73 an hour - for their time.
