My son isn't attending school because there are no spaces in any of the local schools. Do we just have to wait?
The local authority is obliged to provide all children living in their area with education. Contact your local authority and request details of all schools with vacancies. If there are no schools in the borough, they should provide details of schools in neighbouring boroughs. The local authority should assist you with locating schools with vacancies and ensuring your child receives an education.
