The 863,193 will allow the alliance to train children to beinvestigators and present their views to the UN Committee on the Rightsof the Child, when it meets next year.
The aim is to give young people a chance to voice their opinions on howtheir human rights are assessed and reported at an international level.The project will also run a youth-led interactive web site, which willinclude surveys on young people's rights and discussion forums.
At a local level, the project will recruit children's rights championswho will encourage one significant local decision maker to visit the website and make a public pledge to young people in their area.
