Canon Adrian Alker has been appointed as Ripon and Leeds' first director of mission resourcing.
In his new role, Alker will lead a team of full- and part-time officers and advisers who are responsible for several areas, including children's services and youth work. Alker has been vicar of St Mark's Church in Broomhill for the past 20 years, and prior to that was a diocesan youth officer in Cumbria.
