The Made In Britain campaign, launched by the Black Male Forum, will lobby the public and private sector to do more to promote ethnic diversity policies to Black communities.
Bisi Akiwumi-Jones, director of Voicing Our Struggles and Issues, which runs the Black Male Forum, said: "A lot of Black boys are getting into drugs and crime because of a poverty of opportunities."
As well as putting her own money into the campaign, Akiwumi-Jones is looking for 100,000 individuals to donate 20 a year, which will help 500 Black young men through a course comprising personal development, education and careers support, first piloted at Capital City Academy in Brent.
