Big Top: Children's charity circus entertains families in Stoke

The Caudwell Charitable Trust treated children and their families to ringside seats at a circus pitched outside its Stoke headquarters.

The charity, which was established by mobile-phone entrepreneur John Caudwell, helps children with special needs, disabilities and serious illnesses. The big top, from Uncle Sam's American Circus, will be pitched at the site for a month. Among its guests at the Easter party were three-year-old John Davies, who has cerebral palsy, and four-year-old Harry Gilmore, who suffers from epilepsy.
