Best thing I ever did: Sam Kerr, 17, Dumfries

1 min read

Before the group was set up, Dumfries Youth Enquiry Service was the only place in the whole of Dumfries and Galloway where young LGBT people could go. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be: the first year was just solid paperwork. At points I thought of giving up but now I'm glad I didn't. It helped me to become more confident and to help others. I won a Celebration of Learning Award because of the project and I'm incredibly proud of that.
