We students were to play a character based on a real-life case study while being interviewed by a PA who had no idea what we would say. The characters had problems including drug addiction, teenage pregnancy and homelessness.
The PAs were assessed by their colleagues on skills and ability to relate to us, their body language and verbal communication.
Not only was this a benefit to us drama students, but it allowed PAs to learn in a safe way. It should be used by all Connexions, because it would help improve skills.
