We had to submit artwork that could persuade young people to vote, so I sent in a selection of photographs I took of peace protestors. One showed a man with tape over his mouth.
The competition has encouraged me to pursue a career as a press photographer, but I think I'll struggle because I have strong opinions. I know from experience that a picture of a celebrity will make thousands of pounds more than one of a dying baby, but that's the way the world works.
