
When the previous after-school club based at St Edwards Catholic Primary School closed suddenly, it was the parents that helped keep things going and got the One and All After School Club off the ground.
While the club waited for its Ofsted registration to go through, it had to ensure it kept within the two-hour legal limit for childcare provided by unregistered settings.
"The parents were absolutely brilliant," recalls Jo Griffiths, manager of One and All. "We had to run in one hour 59 minutes so all the parents rescheduled their work times to make sure they were back within the two hours."
