Local schools, pre-schools and a children's centre took part in the event, which was designed to encourage dads, stepdads and granddads to get more involved in their children's education.
What did it involve? Visiting dads had the chance to take part in a range of activities including cooking, creative arts, reading stories to the children and singing. One school ran a science week, while another invited their visitors to a church service followed by playtime, and a third school ran a dads' lunch.
What did people think? Feedback from all involved was overwhelmingly positive and several dads asked if the week could become a regular event.
