I've never really been a big David Beckham fan. He seems nice enough but he doesn't float my boat. I am in a minority; he is adored. I was reading last week about some Japanese fans who booked into his hotel to take photos of his toilet seat. But blimey, Goldenballs falls from grace, and a nation mourns.
Oh David, what have you done to us? I used to quote you when I was training on all that was positive about masculinity (with Dave you could pad it out a bit and it made for a great talk on what being a man was about).
