A feature in the Radio Times thinks so anyway. Perhaps best not to relyon it. The BBC has a vested interest in bigging up its comedy showaudiences.

So much so that the Radio Times commissioned research showing that86,000 four- to nine-year-olds watched the last series. The magazinereminded readers that the programme's characters "included a grown manstill breast-fed, and lots of rude jokes from Dafydd, the 'only gay inthe village'."

The Radio Times quoted Tim Benson, of the National Association of HeadTeachers, and his "relaxed view" of what Little Britain means topupils.

"I use Vicky Pollard in my own school," he said, describing how he turnsbarefaced denials into grinning confessions by use of her catchphrase.
