You've got it. Children aren't in jail. Therefore, going there tends not to improve access possibilities.
The campaigners in question are Fathers4Justice, who flour-bombed the Commons and have dressed as comic book heroes to hold up traffic. They've got some press support for their cause, but mixed reactions for their methods.
An editorial in the Daily Telegraph was under-impressed with the performance of Commons infiltrators Ron Davis and Guy Harrison. It wasn't very persuaded by the protestors' comparisons of themselves with the Suffragettes. It was also a bit snooty about the campaign group's thinking skills.
"Apart from anything else, they don't seem very bright: it hasn't occurred to them that their escapades only reinforce the stereotype of the irresponsible male. And one can't help reflecting that if Mrs Pankhurst had smuggled a placard into the public gallery of the House of Commons, she'd at least have managed - unlike Mr Harrison - to hold it the right way up."
