Q: Some of the girls at my youth club are obsessed with the Jade Goody story. They talk about it constantly. I really don't approve of the whole reality TV idea. What should I do?

Jade was always a celebrity many people loved to hate, and when she was dying there was a sense of guilt about how she had been treated in the past. Public fascination with this case may be taking reality TV to the extreme, but reports that more young women are having smear tests is a positive. If Jade was someone with whom these young women identified, it might encourage them to take more care of themselves.
