Arts beat: Breathe deeper

Hannah Crane, 16, takes a breath test during a Motorwise workshop for teenagers in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire, last week.

The police run Motorwise events to help young people reach the age of 17 with a clean driving licence and to pass on some general information about safe driving skills and road safety. Berkshire Association of Clubs for Young People and Bracknell Forest Borough Council jointly organised the event, at which participants got the opportunity to drive a dual-controlled car as well as learn about basic car maintenance, practical driving skills and drink-driving awareness.
