Arts and Media: Learning difficulties supplement set up

Young people with learning difficulties in the London borough of Haringey are set to produce two magazine supplements highlighting the issues faced by themselves and their peers.

A group of 13- to 19-year-olds from Bruce Grove Youth Club in Tottenham will be trained in journalism and design in order to create the supplements. These will be published in the borough's youth magazine Exposure at the end of this year and the beginning of next year. The training is being funded by £4,500 from the National Lottery's Awards for All fund.
