Apprentice rules hinder disabled

Education Health

Tara Flood, director of the Alliance for Inclusive Education, said young people should be able to demonstrate their ability to do an apprenticeship through activities such as volunteering, not only through GCSEs. "We want Lord Young to recognise the value of disabled young people being part of the mainstream apprenticeship programme," she said.
