More money for children's mental health services has meant more childrenand young people getting help, according to new figures. Yet they alsoshow many children still unable to access the full range of child andadolescent mental health services the extra 300m was supposed tosecure.
The figures, commissioned by England's health and education departments'show that although more children are receiving care and there is anincreasing number of staff to treat them, the goal of creating acomprehensive service this year is unlikely to be met.
