Advice centre joins C-Card scheme

Youth Work
A drop-in centre in West Sussex has signed up to a new service to allow young people free access to condoms.

Project 82, based in Littlehampton, already provides sexual health advice, free condoms, pregnancy and chlamydia testing, but last month joined the C-Card scheme.

Young people will be given a card allowing them to get free condoms once they have had a chat with a youth worker.

Tim Howell, project manager, said: "By building in a mechanism to talk through issues around sex with trained youth workers, we can do our best to ensure these young people are making responsible choices."
