With substance misuse among young people on the rise a group of teenagers from Wolverhampton got together to help create a DVD warning about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. Nine young people, aged between 13 and 19, met every week, after school, to research, write scripts, act, film, write and record the soundtrack, and edit the DVD.
The DVD, called Blunt, after the name given to a common drug, was released by the Black Country Connexions' Involving Young People Network.
It sends out a message from young people to other young people that substance abuse is not cool. It is being distributed to a variety of youth groups working with young people.
