Youth Investment Fund applications to close

Applications for the Youth Investment Fund (YIF) will close in June this year after being “heavily oversubscribed”, it has been announced.

Projects funded by the £300m programme must be completed by 31 March 2025, the announcement adds.

It says that applications for funding through the YIF will close on 1 June and bids will only be accepted from organisations “seeking to deliver less complex, smaller projects that can be fully completed by 31 March 2025”.

All projects must be completed and all money handed out as part of the grant must be spent by the end of March 2025, the statement adds.

This includes:

Having secured appropriate planning permissions

Having secured suitable ownership/leases

Providing clear plans which outline the build/refurbishment, including build times and build end dates.
