According to the charity, funding cuts have forced it to propose the new structure which will see 32 posts remaining and excludes posts that are time limited and linked to specific funding streams.
The charity will continue to receive a small amount of funding from the Office of Civil Society to cover some costs for its core work of inspiring young people to get involved in social action projects.
Terry Ryall, V’s chief executive, said: "It is extremely regrettable that because of reductions in public funding some posts will cease to exist. Staff have been informed of the planned restructure and we are now entering a period of consultation. We are committed to ensuring that the transition for staff and for our partners is as fair and as smooth as possible."
