The project is being run by Midlands-based Ashram Housing Association and is open to young people across the UK living in social housing.
Issues already raised include the need for more youth facilities on housing estates.
An Ashram spokeswoman said: "There was a lot raised about young people in social housing not being well represented. They felt they were being marginalised in society."
The video messages will be sent to the leaders of the three main parties for their comment. Each party will also be contacted in four years to see if they have sought to address the young people’s concerns.
The messages will also be available online at www.socialbreakfast.org.
This video initiative follows a Tenant Services Authority and Poplar Housing and Regeneration Community Association-organised event at the weekend called My House, My Street, My Say. Some of the 100 young people living in social housing that attended were among the first to leave video messages.
