The organisation, which places youth workers in emergency departments to support young people involved in violent crime, paused its Hospital-based Interrupting Violence Exchange (HIVE) conferences due to the pandemic.

Open to HIVE members, including Violence Reduction Unit workers, community organisations, practitioners, medics, Redthread is hosting one online event and one in-person session later this month.

Its Safeguarding and the three P’s: People, Practice, Policy session will be held online on 26 January.
