
The alliance says the new name reflects its growing membership base, including pre-schools, childminders, nurseries, baby and toddler groups, students and local authorities.
The change comes as part of a membership strategy review which will look at existing benefits and packages and will include investment into new membership systems.
Chief executive Neil Leitch, said: "We are incredibly excited to be officially rebranding as the Early Years Alliance. In these difficult times, a united sector voice is absolutely critical and our new name reflects our determination to offer just that.
"What's more, this rebrand reflects our commitment to delivering the practical support that all our members, from across the sector, need: whether that's helping pre-schools to improve their charity's structure, providing comprehensive business support to nurseries or fighting for unfair ‘related children' funding rules affecting childminders to be scrapped.
