Oxfordshire residents can have their say on council plans to develop a more inclusive approach by taking part in the two interlinked consultations. These include an online questionnaire, which runs between Monday 10 January and Thursday 10 March 2022, and an online roadshow, with five events set to take place in February.

The council’s proposals include ensuring more high quality SEND support is available closer to home, reducing reliance on out of county provision, and strengthening partnerships between schools and the council to help improve educational outcomes for children.

The council’s aim is to develop a broad range of provision for children and young people with SEND, improving post-16 education, learning and employment and providing a range of specialist learning offers.
