Maternal employment has little impact on child development

There is very little evidence that having a mother who works leads to poor outcomes for children, according to new research.

Researchers from the Institute of Education, Ohio University and University of Piraeus analysed findings from 1,725 mothers in the US and 2,083 mothers in the UK. The research focused on whether a mother worked during a child's first year.
