Released today, Capital Gains - One Year On looks at the progress made on the delivery of the commission's recommendations made in last year's report Capital Gains.
The findings show that, although a lot of work has been done, 41 per cent of children in the capital are classed as living in poverty after housing costs are taken into consideration, showing a lack of progress which dates back to 2000.
A number of recommendations made in the original report are also still to be adequately addressed. These include further increases in child tax credits and benefits, assistance with housing costs and measures to reduce disruption in education for children in temporary accommodation.
