The Kinship Compass, which launched today (18 April), aims to address the challenges kinship carers face when accessing information and support.

Carers can use the resource to sign up for free online training delivered by Kinship on topics tailored to their personal circumstances or book an appointment to speak to an expert adviser.

It also enables people to chat online with a trained kinship carer, match with a ‘Someone Like Me’ kinship carer volunteer and find peer support groups for kinship carers in their area using a postcode search.

Resources are also available on how to set up a kinship support group.
