The organisation has taken over Hillingdon Manor School in west London, which caters for up to 90 children.
Barry Sampson, chairman and founder of Hillcrest, said: "After our acquisition of Orange Grove Fostercare last year we were keen to continue the strategic growth of Hillcrest into associated areas."
Anna Kennedy, who set up the school when her own children were diagnosed with autistic spectrum disorders, said: "Our approach has been very successful in getting young people with autistic spectrum disorders to make real educational progress, including passing their GCSEs, through the work done at the school."
Kennedy will remain in her role as director of Hillingdon Manor School and will work closely with the Hillcrest management team.
