Grab your last chance to enter the CYP Now Awards

There are just a few days left to enter the 2009 Children & Young People Now Awards. Entries must reach us by Friday 31 July at the latest.

The event is the most prestigious national awards scheme for people working in children's and youth services. It rewards excellence in work that improves the life chances of children, from birth to 19, and their families.

The awards will be presented at a gala ceremony on the evening of 26 November at the Hurlingham Club in London. Children's Secretary Ed Balls opened last year's event with a keynote speech and has been invited to do so again this year.

You can enter any project or initiative, whether it is in the public, voluntary or private sector. There are 22 categories to pick from (see below).
