The government's free parenting class pilots will kick off in three areas next month.

Six charities have been chosen to run the classes in Camden, Middlesbrough and High Peak in Derbyshire.

The National Childbirth Trust, Family Links, Save the Children, Fatherhood Institute, Heart of England NHS Trust and the Race Equalty Foundation together with Mumsnet have been selected to provide universal parenting classes.

The Camden pilot also involves Montessori St Nicholas, Mind Gym, Coram and the City Literary Institute.

Derbyshire Council, Family Lives and the Family Matters Institite will support classes in High Peak, and Barnardo’s is involved in the Middlesbrough pilot.
