The conference, Transforming Adolescent Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers, Improving Outcomes features a number of top speakers.
They include Paul Burstow, the former health minister who is now chair of the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor of mental health policy at the University of Birmingham, who will provide the opening policy keynote.
The main sessions will provide an overview of progress of the children's mental health green paper and the NHS Long Term plan; an understanding of how policy reforms are affecting practice across the workforce; and insight into the impact of social media on young people's mental health.
There will also be a host of practice seminars on topics including promoting resilience, improving transition to adult care, support for young people in care, parental mental illness, and addressing self-harm and eating disorders.
