Free tooth advice on Isle of Wight

Health
Young families on the Isle of Wight are to get free oral health advice.

The initiative is part of the Isle of Wight Council’s Family Resources Service, Pop in and Play scheme, which was set up by the council to help younger families as part of a wider scheme to prevent children being taken into care.

At the session on Monday 11 August, parents and children will be visited by an oral health expert who will give demonstrations on good oral hygiene.

Dr Jenifer Smith, director of Public Health and chief medical advisor at the Isle of Wight NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT) said: The PCT strongly supports this initiative.
