The new deadline for entering the CYP Now Awards is Friday 25 September 2020 to give children’s organisations, teams and individuals more time to submit their entries.

Projects and work undertaken over the period 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2020 are eligible for entry.

The longer entry timescale means that the gala Awards ceremony held at the Hurlingham Club in London and originally scheduled for 26 November, has been moved to the new date of Thursday 18 March 2021.

Announcing the date changes, CYP Now editor Derren Hayes said: “The Covid-19 pandemic makes this an extraordinarily difficult time for children’s and young people services. It is now especially important that the hard work and dedication of people working across the sector is nationally recognised and commended.
