Updates for 10 April:

Almost half of parents ‘not confident’ in teaching children at home

Forty-two per cent of parents do not feel confident about teaching their children at home, a new survey by the Sutton Trust has found.

Some 1,508 adults living in the UK with children aged two to 18 were surveyed about their experiences in the first week of April.

The survey also found that 45 per cent of those asked were satisfied by the support they had received from their child’s school.
